Here are five arpeggio exercises in all twelve keys that I developed several years ago and have enjoyed playing each day, since. I wanted to work on structures that sent me all across the range of the bass in order to build my abilities and confidence in areas that needed work, including moving smoothly across the break into thumb position and back. At the same time, I thought it would be both fun and a good challenge to hear and play different chord qualities on the ascent and descent. Over time, I’ve felt considerable growth from consistent work on these exercises. I hope they are helpful and enjoyable for you, as well.
