Rosetta on "Top Ten Albums of the Year 2006" lists! Kurt Gottschalk of Coda Magazine and Kevin Le Gendre of Jazzwise both included the album.

Rosetta is my most recent album on the Papillon Sounds label.  The format of acoustic guitar and electric guitar with acoustic bass (just strings) represented for me a departure, at first an experiment, instrumentation-wise, but the chemistry of the trio is so alive that it sure seems obvious now, in retrospect! Please check it out at CDBaby...

Rosetta has received some really amazing feedback in the press. Please check the press page to read on...

"The instrumentation is unique, the sound is pristine and the personalities are strong. The melodies are unforgettable, and their impact is quietly explosive..."

"On Rosetta, you can hear Stephan's omnivorous outlook filtering through. The songs are complex yet immediate, and ever-so-slightly twisted. Each is its own compact universe, but the album tells a unified tale. I believe the coherence of Stephan's art is rare. And thanks to this rare and imaginative lineup - bass and two richly contrasting guitars - his gifts are nakedly and thrillingly apparent. So put on your headphones and let the sounds seep in. Like me, you've heard countless recordings, including many extraordinary ones. But Rosetta is jazz as it's never quite sounded before."
